New Mexico Appointment Renewals for 2013

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payments for New Mexico Appointment Renewals MUST be received by NIPR through the Electronic Options made available

NOTE: NO PAPER CHECKS:

• Companies that submit a payment to NIPR via paper check will not have their renewal invoice processed and will have the payment refunded to them
  
  
• Since receipt of a paper check is through a lock box account, NIPR may take several days to post the paper check and issue a refund check to your company.
  • NIPR is not responsible for any renewal late fees incurred during this period

NIPR Transaction Fees
The NIPR processing fee per invoice will equal 1% of the total state fees charged with a minimum of $5.00 and a maximum of a $1,000.00

Example:

Transaction fee is 1% of $2000.00 or $20.00

NIPR processing fees are not refundable.

Process after March 6, 2012 when the electronic invoices are on the website is:

• On the internet, go to www.nipr.com
  
  
• Click on the link to “Company Appointment Renewals” in the left-hand column.
  
  
• Click on “Continue to Appointment Renewals”.
  
  
• Read the Use Agreement and click on the “Accept” button at the bottom of the page
  
  
• Follow the links to company appointment renewals and sign-in using your company identifiers: company Cocodes, FEIN, and/or company name
  
  
• After entering information identifying you as an authorized submitter, the company appointment renewal invoice will be displayed. You can:
  • Print/pay the invoice
  • View the report of appointment renewals
  • Print the report of appointment renewals
  • Download the report as text (delimited)
  • Download the Report as XML

Adjuster License Renewal

Independent Adjusters

• A renewal notice will be mailed to every licensee the first week in March.
  
  
• Must have an active bond on file.
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 if received by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $45.00 (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after April 30th.
  
  
• License will be cancelled on June 1st if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID.
  
  
• We do not accept cash or credit card payments at this time.
  
  

Independent Adjusters With Firm Affiliation

• A renewal notice will be mailed to the adjusting firm the first week in March. 
  
  
• Must have an active bond on file.
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by April 30th. 
  
  
• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty. 
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 if received by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $45.00 for each adjuster (renewal fee plus 50% late fee) if received after April 30th. 
  
  
• License will be cancelled on June 1st if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID.

Staff Adjusters

• A renewal notice will be mailed to the sponsoring insurance company the first week in March.
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by April 30th. 
  
  
• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty. 
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 for each adjuster if received by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $45.00 for each adjuster (renewal fee plus 50% late fee) if received after April 30th. 
  
  
• License will be cancelled on June 1st if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID. 
  
  
• We do not accept cash or credit card payments at this time.

Bail Appointment Renewal

Bail Bond Property Agent

• Appointment renewal notice for the Bail Bondsman will be mailed to every licensee the first week in March. 
  
  
• Current Letter of Credit must be on file
  
  
• Fingerprints must be on file
  
  
• Continuing Education credits must be on file
  
  
• Solicitor renewal notice will be mailed to the sponsoring bail bondsman.
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by April 30th. 
  
  
• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty. 
  
  
• Renewal fee is $20.00 for each appointment if received by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 for each appointment (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after April 30th. 
  
  
• License will be cancelled on June 1st if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID.

Bail Bond Solicitor

• Solicitor renewal notice will be mailed to the sponsoring bail bondsman the first week in March.

• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty.

• Agent appointment renewal notice will be mailed to the sponsoring insurance company the first week in March.

• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty.

Broker License Renewal

2013 New Mexico Broker License Renewal Notice
The New Mexico Insurance Division will provide electronic license renewal processing through NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry). The NIPR website link is: www.nipr.com

• The deadline for the annual continuance is April 30th.. Renewal fee is $30.00. Renewals received after April 30th will be subject to an additional fee. The fee thereafter is equal to One Hundred Fifty Percent assessment in accordance with Section 59A-11-10(B) NMSA. (Example, $30.00 renewal fee will be $45.00 per licensee, renewal fee plus 50% late Fee, if received after April 30th.)
• To file by paper, send your request to agents.licensing@state.nm.us When submitting paper renewals, make checks payable to NMPRCID.

• NMSA 59A-12-20.1The licensee shall promptly notify the superintendent in writing of a change of address. Failure to notify the superintendent of a change of address within twenty days shall subject the licensee to a penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00).

Business Entity Renewals

2013 New Mexico Business Entity Renewal Notice

• Renewal notice will be mailed to the business entity the first week in March.

• NM residents must have Continuing Education credits on file.
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $20.00 per affiliate, per line of business if received by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 per affiliate, per line of business (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after April 30th.
  
  
• Affiliates will be cancelled on June 1st if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID.
  
  
• We do not accept cash or credit card payments at this time.

NMSA 59A-12-20.1The licensee shall promptly notify the superintendent in writing of a change of address. Failure to notify the superintendent of a change of address within twenty days shall subject the licensee to a penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00).

Insurance Consultant Renewal

• Insurance consultant license is renewed biennially upon application and payment of a fee of one hundred dollars ($100).
  
  
• Renewal notice will be mailed to the licensee
  
  
• Renewal fee is $100.00 if received by the licensees anniversary date
  
  
• Renewal fee is $150.00 (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received 30 days after the anniversary date
  
  
• License will be cancelled 30 days after the anniversary date if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID. 
  
  
• We do not accept cash or credit card payments at this time.
  
  

Motor Club Representative Renewal

• Renewal notice with a list of all the Motor Club Representatives will be mailed to the sponsoring insurance company the first week in December.
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by December 30th. 
  
  
• Renewals received after December 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty. 
  
  
• Renewal fee is $20.00 if received by December 31st.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after December 31st. 
  
  
• License will be cancelled on February 1st if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID. 
  
  
• We do not accept cash or credit card payments at this time.
  
  

Rental Car Insurance Limited Producer License Renewal

• Renewal notice will be mailed to the licensee the first week in March.
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by April 30th. 
  
  
• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty. 
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 if received by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $45.00 (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after April 30th. 
  
  
• License will be cancelled on June 1st if not renewed.

Solicitor Appointment Renewal

• Solicitor renewal notice will be mailed to the sponsoring agent the first week in March.
  
  
• Continuing Education credits must be on file
  
  
• Renewal notice and renewal fee is due back by April 30th. 
  
  
• Renewals received after April 30th will be assessed a 50% penalty. 
  
  
• Renewal fee is $20.00 for each appointment if received by April 30th.

Surplus Line Broker Renewal

Broker License Renewal

2013 New Mexico Broker License Renewal Notice .

• Renewal fee is $20.00 for each affiliate if received by April 30th.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 for each affiliate (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after April 30th. 
  
  
• Renewal fee is $30.00 for each individual license
  
  
• Renewal fee is $45.00 for each individual license (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after April 30th.

Viatical Settlements Broker Renewal

• Licenses are renewed annually on the anniversary date of licensure upon payment of the annual renewal fee. Failure to pay the fee by the renewal date shall result in revocation of the license.
  
  
• Renewal notice for the individual will be mailed to the licensee.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $100.00 for each individual license.
  
  
• Renewal fee is $150.00 for each individual license (renewal fee plus 50% late Fee) if received after the anniversary date.
  
  
• License will be cancelled 30 days after the anniversary date if not renewed.
  
  
• Fees must be made payable to NMPRCID.
