Fingerprint Requirements
All Bail Bondsmen and Solicitors are required to file fingerprint impressions.
The total processing fee for the fingerprint impressions is $44.00. This fee consists of an FBI processing fee and DPS processing fee.
Fingerprint impressions must be taken on a standard FBI fingerprint card. The fingerprint card is available from the Agent Licensing Bureau. To obtain fingerprint card(s) by mail, send an e-mail request to agents.licensing@state.nm.us

New Applicants
Must submit fingerprint cards along with a check in the amount of $44.00 made payable to DPS, Exam Registration Form, license application, and/or appointment and fees made payable to Prometric. These must be mailed directly to the Agent Licensing Bureau.

Renewal
Fingerprint cards and fees were required for 2009 Renewals. If fingerprints have not been submitted, please send your cards and $44.00 processing fees made payable to DPS to the Agent Licensing Bureau immediately.
License Activation
To activate a cancelled license, applicant can not be inactive for more than 5 years and must be in compliance with continuing education requirement. The applicant must submit fingerprint cards along with a check in the amount of $44.00 made payable to DPS, license application, and/or appointment and fees made payable to NMPRCID. These must be mailed directly to the Agent Licensing Bureau.
