Employee of the Month February 2011
John Hooper
Compliance Officer
Consumer Relations Division

The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission recently honored John Hooper as its Employee of the Month for February 2011.
Hooper, a compliance officer with the agency’s Consumer Relations Division, has been employed by the NMPRC for three years. This is the second time in as many years that John has earned the EOM honor.
“John Hooper is a very dedicated employee to the PRC. HE handles consumer complaints in a very efficient and courteous manner,” CRD Director Jim Williamson wrote in his letter nominating Hooper for the award. “We are fortunate to have him in our bureau.”
Accompanying Hooper’s nomination form was a letter from a consumer who sang the compliance officer’s praises.
“… John has gone above and beyond how I expected this procedure to go. He has kept me informed every step of the way, even going so far as to scan and e-mail a copy of the resolution letter,” Jimmy Andrews wrote. “He was an excellent listener and empathized with my situation … John is a testament to the NMPRC’s commitment to the community, even when that community is across the country. I have dealt with several other National, and our Federal, State and Local government employees and while most of the time the experience was not noteworthy, this one was. My hand of gratitude is extended to John and the NMPRC, thank you.”
Please take a moment and join us in congratulating John Hooper, our Employee of the Month for February 2011.
