Recognizing the importance of small business and the fact that it is the backbone of our economy; Sandy is confident that given the tools to succeed, small business will create the good jobs necessary for our children to stay here at home in New Mexico to work and raise their families.  Sandy is dedicated to keeping utility rates affordable for all, ensuring safe, reliable transportation systems, streamlining the regulatory process and to making sure that the PRC is easily accessible to business and public alike.

Sandy has an open door policy and is always available to meet with service providers and consumers.  Jones continues to hold Open Office Hours in each of the eleven counties that he represents at least once a year.  These meetings are open to the public and will provide folks an opportunity to meet with him and to work on issues they may have with expert PRC staff in the areas of Utilities, Insurance, Corporations and Fire Safety.
